Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers to boost revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training: conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain an attractive, well-organized store with visually appealing displays and easy-to-navigate layouts.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales strategies, and fostering a positive, high-energy work environment.
• Represent Claire’s brand by staying updated on fashion and social media trends, using your knowledge to recommend products and increase sales.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their purchases on social media, creating shareable moments that promote Claire’s.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to manage transactions and ensure smooth store operations.
• Completion of some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts and lift 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
• Mobility to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while assisting customers and stocking merchandise.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service throughout their visit.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

• Passion for fashion and staying updated on the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during your shift.
