Responsibilities

• Own the Sales Game: Crush sales goals by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promotions to drive revenue.
• Piercing Excellence: Complete comprehensive training to become a trusted guide for customers—conduct piercings, educate on after‑care, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions throughout the process.
• Keep It Fresh: Maintain an Instagram‑worthy store with perfect displays, organized inventory, and easy‑to‑shop layouts.
• Team Collaboration: Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high‑energy vibe.
• Brand Representation: Showcase Claire’s products and services, stay plugged into fashion and social‑media trends, and use that knowledge to suggest products and boost sales.
• Store Operations: Oversee daily operations with efficiency and flair—manage inventory, handle cash transactions, execute visual merchandising, and coordinate promotional activities.
• Create Shareable Moments: Encourage customers to post their new accessories and piercings on social media, turning their Claire’s haul into viral moments.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Completed some high school education and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11‑35 kg (25‑75 lb); bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while stocking merchandise and assisting customers.
• Passion for providing customers opportunities for self‑expression and delivering excellent service.
• Alignment with Claire’s values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self‑expression.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Driven team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and self‑motivation.
• Organized and capable of working independently when needed.
• Passion for fashion and up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during the shift.
