Responsibilities

• Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers to drive revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training, conducting piercings, educating customers on aftercare, maintaining a sterile environment, and addressing questions or concerns.
• Maintain an Insta-worthy store with visually appealing displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and fostering a positive, high-energy environment for both customers and coworkers.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion and social media trends to help customers find their perfect style and suggest products that boost sales.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their new accessories and piercings on social media, creating shareable moments that promote the Claire’s brand.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, particularly for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Completion of some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
• Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while assisting customers and organizing merchandise.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service throughout their visit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for tasks such as inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in some stores.
• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shifts.

Compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, and will meet or exceed the legally mandated minimum wage for the location.
