Responsibilities

• Crush sales goals by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers to drive revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training—conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain an Insta-worthy store with eye-catching displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and fostering a positive, high-energy atmosphere.
• Represent Claire’s brand by staying updated on fashion and social media trends to help customers find their perfect style and boost sales.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their new accessories and piercings on social media, creating viral-worthy moments.

About You

• Sales-driven with a passion for hitting goals and turning browsers into buyers.
• Social and digital savvy—knowledgeable about trends and how to translate them into an amazing customer experience.
• Customer-first mentality with a focus on making customers feel confident and empowered.
• At least one year of retail experience, ideally with leadership or sales-driving responsibilities.
• Organized, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Completion of some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
• Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while assisting customers and merchandising.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves freely every day.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and organized, capable of working alone in some stores.
• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shifts.
