Responsibilities

• Own the sales game by crushing sales goals, delivering next‑level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promos to drive revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training, conduct piercings, educate customers on after‑care, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions throughout the process.
• Keep the store “Insta‑worthy” with perfect displays, organized inventory, and easy‑to‑shop layouts.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high‑energy vibe.
• Represent the Claire’s brand by staying plugged into fashion and social‑media trends, suggesting products, and boosting sales.
• Oversee store operations—including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities—with efficiency and flair.
• Encourage customers to share their new accessories and piercings on social media, turning their Claire’s haul into viral moments.

Qualifications

• Sales‑obsessed energy: love making a sale, hitting goals, and turning browsers into buyers.
• Social & digital savvy: know what’s trending and how to translate that into an amazing customer experience.
• Customer‑first mentality: understand people and enjoy making them feel confident and empowered.
• Retail & leadership skills: at least one year of retail experience, ideally with leadership or sales‑driving responsibility.
• Ready to hustle: organized, self‑motivated, and always looking for ways to level up.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Completed some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11‑35 kg (25‑75 lb).
• Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Passion for providing customers opportunities to express themselves freely.
• Energy for interacting with customers and a commitment to excellent service.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

Compensation

All positions are compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. Final compensation is determined by factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
