Part Time Mammography Technician ARRT(R)(M)
About the role
Under the direction of the Radiology Administrator, the Mammography Technologist will perform diagnostic and screening mammograms at our Bronx- Based flagship site El Nuevo San Juan. We are seeking a part time commitment of 2 or 3 regular shifts per week. Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm would be a required shift; 2nd/3rd shift is open to other weekdays Monday-Friday based on your availability.

Responsibilities
- Complete patient education regarding the exam, promote patient privacy and comfort.
- Perform diagnostic or screening mammography as ordered.
- Completes appropriate documentation.
- Acts as lead for the division in supporting training of other Mammo Techs.
- Produce high quality films for the radiologist to evaluation, pays attention to detail.
- Performs quality control functions related to mammography.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
