Part-Time Maintenance - Groundskeeper (Summer Help)

Long Prairie Packing, LLC., an American Foods Group Company, is seeking a Part-Time Groundskeeper (Summer Help) for our Long Prairie, MN plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform general lawn care including mowing grass, spraying weeds, and picking up trash.
• Move and store equipment in warehouses and other areas on the property.
• General housekeeping tasks such as cleaning warehouses and storage areas, sweeping, and organizing items.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and food quality standards, including Safe Quality Food (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and food defense protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures and conditions (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or slippery surfaces) at different heights, around moving equipment, and with personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Flexible schedule available, with start times and hours varying (15-40 hours weekly).

Pay

Base hourly rate of $19.70 per hour.
