About the role

The Tire & Lube Technician plays a crucial role in supporting shop efficiency by performing routine vehicle maintenance services, conducting basic inspections, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
  • Rotate, mount, balance, and repair tires.
  • Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation levels.
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections (lights, wipers, belts, hoses, etc.).
  • Maintain proper fluid levels (coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, etc.).
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop policies.
  • Accurately document services performed and report any additional issues.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist other technicians as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous automotive or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to operate basic automotive tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Work in varying temperatures and shop conditions.

Qualifications
