About the role
The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care for clients in a clinic setting at Falls Community Health.
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the patient care team to provide patient-centered care
- Assist other clinical staff
- Schedule specialty referrals
- Provide patient education
- Administer vaccines
- Assist with medication refill requests and procedures
- Track and return patient phone calls
- Perform other clinical duties as needed
Schedule
This is a non-benefitted position with the ability to work up to 28 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Must hold or be able to obtain a State of South Dakota Board of Nursing Certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse prior to hire

- Superior customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience
