Part Time Lobby Attendant - Best Western Orlando, FL

Job Purpose

Maintain lobby and public space areas, as assigned by management, in a clean and orderly condition according to standard procedures in a safe, accident-free manner. Provide warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance to reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent
• Excellent hearing to hear guest concerns and management requests
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent vision to pick out areas needing attention
• Excellent speech communication skills to communicate with guests and management
• Ability to read and understand the correct use of cleaning supplies
• Lifting boxes of supplies, pushing a cart, carrying supplies (20-30 lbs.), bending to pick up items on the floor, kneeling to clean under furniture - frequently
• Continuous standing - Will be on feet for 8-hour shift cleaning and doing projects in the public space
• Climbing ladders of approximately 5-6 feet 5% of year
• Passionate about people and service
• Strong communication skills essential when interacting with guests and employees
• Reading and writing abilities used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
• Basic math skills used frequently when handling cash or credit
• Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities often used
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
