Part Time - Loader/Cart Associate - Flexible
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store.
- Engage customers in a friendly and professional manner to answer questions.
- Retrieve, load, and replenish merchandise for customers and staff.
- Assist customers and staff in safely moving merchandise, including frequent lifting and moving throughout the shift.
- Load merchandise into customer vehicles.
- Replenish store shelves for the next customers.
Requirements
- Generally scheduled 39 to 40 hours per week for full-time or up to 25 hours per week for part-time; additional hours may be required based on store needs.
- Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other job-related activities.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
- 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of retail experience.
- 6 months of experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer.
- 6 months of experience working in any department at a Lowe’s retail store.
- 6 months of retail merchandising experience, including zone recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
- 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
