Responsibilities

  • Serve as a grades 5 - 12 Literacy instructional coach for teachers at Camden's Promise Middle School and Camden Academy Charter High School
  • Provide direct instructional coaching to teachers aligned to subject matter, school, and district priorities delivered through three structured teaching-and-learning cycles that include cycle goal setting, unit internalization, lesson study, lesson rehearsal and modeling, side-by-side coaching, student data and work analysis, and reflection on cycle goal attainment
  • Collaborate with school leaders to set instructional practice goals and develop strategies to enhance student-centered instruction and student achievement
  • Engage stakeholders to address school priorities, analyze school data, and develop comprehensive support plans promoting excellent educational opportunities and inclusion for all students
  • Use research-based practices and student data to develop an individualized strategy for coaching teachers, tailored to their unique needs and context
  • Train teachers on effective implementation of Wit and Wisdom and MyPerspectives to achieve student mastery of grade-level content and improve teacher practice
  • Integrate TeachFX classroom analytics to gather real-time feedback aligned to each coaching cycle's instructional focus
  • Ground observation and feedback in the Danielson Framework for Teaching (Domains 2 and 3), connecting framework components to the network's high-quality instructional materials
  • Participate in weekly team huddles and attend quarterly Communities of Practice and data meetings, contributing observations that inform network-wide coaching priorities
  • Lead professional development sessions for groups of teachers, focusing on instructional best practices, data analysis, and student-centered teaching strategies
  • Codify tools, coaching strategies, and innovative ideas that improve ANet's ability to coach teachers and support student achievement
  • Document progress notes, plans, and deliverables in accordance with ANet and partner-determined guidelines

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $80,376.00 - $120,564.00. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($80,376.00 - $100,470.00) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity. In order to uphold our commitment to transparent, equitable, competitive, and sustainable compensation, ANet does not negotiate pay.
