Part Time Liquor Clerk

Job Overview

Cub St. Louis Park Wine and Spirits is seeking a part-time Liquor Clerk to provide courteous customer service and adhere to state and local liquor regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Stocks liquor supplies
• Provides courteous customer service
• General cleaning of shelves and other store areas
• Knows all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales
• Able to handle special orders, such as kegs, and have appropriate equipment ready for pickup
• Closes and secures gates at the end of the day
• Able to work independently

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing and math
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Good judgment required for handling situations without immediate supervision
• Able to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be 21 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule

• Evenings and weekend shifts
• 3pm-10pm OR 4pm-10pm schedule
