About the role

Behavioral Health Clinicians at Carolina Pediatric Therapy evaluate and treat a wide range of presentations, including but not limited to internalizing disorders, externalizing disorders, trauma, Autism, and ADHD. You’ll use engaging, evidence-based individual, family, and parenting interventions to support positive skill development—making therapy meaningful and impactful.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat a wide range of behavioral health presentations in children
  • Use engaging, evidence-based interventions to support positive skill development
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, Psychology, and Behavioral Health clinicians
  • Participate in an embedded mentorship program for new team members
  • Engage in ongoing staff development and learning opportunities

Requirements

  • Master’s-level Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensed in North Carolina (or eligible)
  • 2+ years of experience preferred (strong pediatric candidates with less experience encouraged to apply)
  • Bilingual skills a plus

Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in North Carolina
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for working with diverse populations
