About The Opportunity
We invite applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) positions at the graduate level. We seek a colleague with an interest in teaching immunology for the Cell and Gene Therapy Professional Master’s Programs depending upon the programs’ needs and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
- review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides;
- be willing to support high-quality teaching and standards through preparation of lectures based on course materials provided;
- facilitate rich respectful debates and discussions in an in-person or online class;
- provide timely review and grading of assignments with appropriate coaching and feedback to the students;
- consistently connect with students and their performance;
- adhere to Northeastern’s policies.
Qualifications
- PhD in immunology or a closely related field and/or an equivalent graduate degree plus at least five years of work experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals or related industry.
- Proven platform skills required, as is an open, supportive personal style willing to receive assistance and coaching when needed from the faculty.
- Prior Experience In a Diverse Higher Education Institution Preferred.
