Part-Time Lecturer - Department of World Languages and Cultures

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced courses in Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Spanish.
• Teach culture-focused classes taught in English.
• Appointments are on a per-term basis, contingent upon enrollment and departmental need.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Previous teaching experience required.

Pay

The rate for Customized Language Instruction (CLI) is $1,185 per student for a standard 4-credit course. A one-credit course at the CLI rate is prorated to $296.26 per student.
