About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. This part-time position is located at Dane Park North in Garland, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, conduct credit screenings, and perform criminal background checks.
  • Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins, and address any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, develop and implement marketing plans, and follow policies regarding concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.
  • Create and execute marketing activities, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools, and community-specific marketing plans.
  • Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture relevant information.
  • Inspect apartments for move-in readiness, communicate maintenance needs to the maintenance team, and ensure the leasing office is prepared for daily activities.
  • Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction through various communication methods and take prompt action to resolve issues.
  • Support the lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client inquiries, and take prompt action to solve problems or document requests.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations.
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in sales and leasing activities. Previous experience in the real estate industry is preferred but not required.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are required. Familiarity with on-site property management software is beneficial.
