About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team at Omega Management Group. This role involves leasing apartments, maintaining customer satisfaction, and performing various administrative and bookkeeping functions.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and maintain customer satisfaction
• Work with and assist the Residential Manager in property administration
• Perform leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions
• Provide courteous and helpful behavior to residents and potential residents
• Apply principles of logical thinking to practical situations
• Think rationally beyond specific instructions
• Work at a fast pace, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure
• Communicate professionally and pleasantly with other site employees, residents, visitors, and the public
• Show legible penmanship and accurate typing skills
• Handle lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records
• Compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations
• Operate fax/copy machine, vacuum, telephone, typewriter, calculator, and be computer literate or willing to be trained
• Resolve resident, prospect, and vendor problems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Prior apartment leasing and/or sales experience preferred
• Valid state driver’s license and auto liability insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Phone available for contact
