Summary

Silver Elm Senior Living Apartments is seeking a Part-Time Leasing Consultant/Resident Assistant to handle leasing activities and support residents in a 110-unit senior living community.

Benefits

Salary: $17.00 per hour (subject to adjustment for onsite living) Housing Benefit: 25% rent discount for onsite living

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, greet prospects, show apartments, and maintain current traffic and telephone logs.
  • Present apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive manner.
  • Absorb and present leasing terms and close agreements.
  • Validate application information and references.
  • Prepare lease agreements.
  • Keep abreast of the property market status.

Resident care

  • Assistance with food deliveries to the resident rooms.
  • Monitor the phone and call system from residents requiring immediate assistance.
  • Assistance in resident functions as requested.
  • Control of the interior building lighting for day light and evenings. Checking entrance and exit door locks.
  • Collection and removal of trash as directed.

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a leasing consultant or sales professional.
  • Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful sales.
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
  • Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques.
  • Customer-focused approach.
