Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview: This position involves acting as a Cashier and/or Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. Key duties include stocking merchandise, maintaining plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating cash registers, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, safeguarding assets, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and teamwork. Responsibilities: Unload trucks and stock shelves following store proceduresAssist customers in locating merchandiseOperate cash registers, handle transactions, and process paymentsMaintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and manage backroom areasSupport opening and closing of the store as directedIn the absence of managers, authorize refunds, manage cash drawers, and oversee security practices Qualifications & Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations and handle cash accuratelyKnowledge of cash handling, safety policies, and register operationsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and implement plan-o-grams and merchandising standardsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred, with supervisory or related experience advantageous Working Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 55 pounds), and movement within a fast-paced environment. Occasional outdoor exposure, use of equipment like scanners and carts, and occasional driving may be required. Flexibility to work in varying conditions is essential.
