Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview

This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting with plan-o-gram implementation, and providing excellent customer service. The role also requires operating registers, handling cash transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting store setup and organization.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise following company procedures.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide superior service.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and maintain register area.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and ensure safety standards.
• Support opening and closing store operations under supervision.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, and monitor security practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Ability to operate cash registers and adhere to safety policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of merchandise presentation and plan-o-gram adherence.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred.
