Part Time Laundry Attendant

About the Role

As a Laundry Attendant, you will maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in support of outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

• Perform all stages of linen processing: collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading washers, dryers, and chutes, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and work area
• Maintain stock levels
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Perform additional laundry services as needed
• Follow proper use of approved chemicals and accurately label chemical containers; always use gloves when handling chemicals
• Complete Chemical Training and Bloodborne Pathogen Training
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area in accordance with hotel standards; complete daily/weekly cleaning schedule
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
• Operate laundry equipment
• Communicate effectively with guests, associates, and managers; respond to guest complaints
• Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company
• Be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary
• Perform other assigned responsibilities
