Part Time Laborer

Responsibilities

• Checking trucks in and out of the transfer station and directing traffic at site as necessary.
• Manual labor including paper picking, keeping landfill clean and presentable.
• Performing yard work including cutting weeds.
• Installing temporary wind fences as required.
• Performing general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.

Requirements

• One year of stable employment history in a similar environment.
• Ability to work schedule in all weather conditions.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Sunday and Wednesday off
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 8:30am to 12:30pm
