Part-Time Lab Assistant, Drafting and Design Engineering Technology

About the role

The Part-Time Drafting and Design Engineering Technology Assistant supports the instructional computer labs, machining shop, and machining lab. The position involves general office duties, assisting students and faculty, monitoring, maintaining, and organizing instructional equipment, software, tooling, and supplies, and supporting the safe and effective operation of drafting/design and machining instructional spaces.

Requirements

• Degree or certificate in Drafting and Design, Machining/CNC, or Industrial Technology
• Equivalent combinations of relevant education, technical training, certifications, and hands-on experience may be considered

Schedule

Limited to no more than 19 hours per week.
