Part Time - IT Systems Technician

About the role

The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining IT systems, including Point of Sale (POS), desktops, printers, and mobile devices. Support is provided for large events.

Responsibilities

• Performs services calls on IT related issues, diagnoses equipment problems, and performs necessary repairs.
• Setup, configure, document, and deploy iPhones for in-house applications.
• Maintains and deploys iPhones for in-house applications.
• Maintains and deploys iPhones for in-house applications.
• Monitors IT ticketing system and completes assigned tasks.
• Documents work performed and resolution steps.
• Develops and maintains working relationships with customers, coworkers, vendors, student organizations, faculty, staff, and university personnel.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Related experience and/or advanced training.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to present information in various settings.
• Good analytical, quantitative, organizational, and management skills.
• Manual dexterity to use a computer and various office machines.
• Physical communication to talk and express oneself.
