Part-Time Inventory/Reconditioning Associate – Evening & Weekend Availability

As a Reconditioning Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every vehicle meets CarMax’s quality standards for quality and presentation. Responsibilities

• Log and track vehicle deliveries and inventory to maintain accurate records
• Move and stage vehicles across the lot for optimal customer viewing
• Ensure a clean, welcoming environment that reflects CarMax’s commitment to excellence
• Perform reconditioning tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles to meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Learn and apply best practices in automotive care and inventory management
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area

Requirements

• High level of motivation and a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $22.20 - $24.24.

Benefits

Part-time associates are eligible for the following benefits:

• Sick time (accrued per pay period, ranging from 24 hours to unlimited based on state rules; in Washington, sick leave is provided consistent with state law)
• Vacation time (8 to 40 hours per year based on length of service, subject to a 1-year waiting period)
• 4 hours of Floating Holiday Time each calendar year (subject to manager approval)
