Part-Time Intake Counselor- Fully Remote, no caseload with Flexible Hours! (LMHC/LCSW/LICSW/LADC/CADC)

About the role

Middlesex Recovery is an addiction treatment program that provides medically-supervised services for adults in various modalities and settings. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Offer individual and group counseling services at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need and state regulations.
• Coordinate all services throughout treatment, including medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
• Complete bio-psychosocial assessments and establish individualized treatment plans with each patient.
• Review treatment plans as clinically indicated and respond to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate patient progress.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is required.
• A positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population is essential.
• A satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check are required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00 per hour. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, specialty, and training.
