Part-time Instructors of Sociology

Essential Functions

• Submitting a syllabus at the beginning of the semester
• Delivering lectures and/or facilitating activities to engage students at all class meetings
• Assigning written coursework and grading it in a timely manner
• Providing ongoing feedback
• Assigning final grades at the end of the semester
• Adhering to academic integrity policies

Additional Functions

• Availability outside of class time to meet with students

Prerequisite Qualifications

• Holding a minimum of a master’s degree in sociology, social/public policy, or a related field
• Having prior teaching experience at the university level

Salary Information

The rate for this position is $2668 per contact hour. (USD).
