Part Time Instructor Pool - Marketing

About the role
Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks supporting the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Positions are part of an instructor pool, with assignments varying based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction in marketing and related subjects
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Develop and update curriculum as needed
- Advise students on academic and career matters
- Participate in professional development activities
- Fulfill assignment-specific requirements as determined by the department
Requirements
- Master's in business administration, business management, business education, marketing, advertising, or finance
- OR Bachelor's in any of the above fields AND Master's in economics, accountancy, taxation, or law
- OR equivalent qualifications (Equivalency Determination Form required)
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subject taught.
Pay
Starting salary range: $70.84 - $86.11 per hour (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule. View the complete salary schedule.

Schedule
Work hours vary based on assignment. Positions are part-time with an anticipated start date of Fall 2026. Applications are accepted year-round and kept in the pool for one year, with interviews conducted on an as-needed basis.
