Part-time Instructor, Play-based Learning Gym

About the role

Romp n’ Roll, a premier play-based learning gym for children ages 3 months to 5 years, is seeking a Part-Time Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a retail or customer service background and has a passion for leading engaging group activities and parties for toddlers and mommy & me classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach fun, play-based classes for children and parents
• Review weekly curriculum and lessons plans
• Lead a variety of gym and art classes
• Ability to be engaging and perform at a high level for all classes and birthday parties

Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience working with young children strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, positive personality and a natural ability to connect with families
• Comfort with sales conversations and promoting services
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to actively participate in and lead children’s activities

Pay and Schedule

Part-time: 10-25 hours per week (depends on performance and availability), with a pay rate of $12.00 per hour. Hours may fluctuate week to week based upon the class schedule, attendance rates, and birthday party bookings.
