Part-Time Instructor | Kinesiology
About the role
The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for fall 2025. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach courses delivered by the Department of Kinesiology. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses delivered by the Department of Kinesiology.
Responsibilities
- teach face-to-face and/or online
- attend training and/or review sessions
- academic advising
- student organization support
- participation in program development and assessment
- work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university
Requirements
- Candidates must have a Master’s of Science degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science with a clear specialization in Exercise Science.
- At least two years of experience teaching at the University or Community College level.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- PhD with Scientific background
- 3-5 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level
- background in strength and conditioning
- Preferred – CSCS, EP-C, RCEP or equivalents
Qualifications
