Key Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned non-credit courses in industrial maintenance and safety.
  • Deliver instruction through lectures, demonstrations, and lab activities.
  • Provide hands-on training in safety, electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Maintain classroom and lab equipment in good working condition.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in the industrial maintenance field.
  • Contribute to curriculum improvement and training material updates as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or 3 years (6000) hours of recent and relevant work experience.
  • Professional experience in machine repair, preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, and PLC programming.
  • Relevant industry certifications are highly preferred.
  • Prior teaching or training experience in a vocational or technical setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, instructional, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with instructional technology and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to carry and distribute class materials and rearrange classroom as needed.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule will vary based on course assignments and program needs.
  • Evening and daytime classes may be available.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
