Responsibilities
- Set up laboratory equipment and materials prior to a laboratory session.
- Prepare reagents and cultures.
- Perform quality control.
- Clean glassware.
- Launder lab coats.
- Assist faculty and/or students during structured laboratory sessions and/or open laboratory sessions, and clean up after the laboratory session is over.
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instrumentation and with monitoring chemical inventory.
- Apply knowledge and practice of safety in a medical laboratory setting.
Requirements
- BS in Medical Laboratory Science
- Knowledge of current Medical Laboratory Science practices
- Preferred: MLS Certification
