Part Time Instructional Assistant Grades 3-5 - Sacred Heart Catholic School

Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing instructional activities and supporting student learning.
• Provide small group and individualized academic support.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transition times.
• Perform clerical and organizational duties, such as preparing instructional materials, copying, filing, and maintaining student records.
• Support classroom management and foster a positive, respectful learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and administration.
• Model and uphold the mission and values of Sacred Heart Catholic School.
• Substitute in the absence of the classroom teacher (other duties as assigned).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Prior experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Commitment to supporting Catholic education and the values of Sacred Heart Catholic School.
