Part Time Hunting Service Shop Associate

Responsibilities

• Efficiently provide maintenance and assembly of customer and store equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Firearms, scopes, and archery equipment
  • Fishing reels, grills, and smokers
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment.
• Perform archery repairs, such as full bow setup, tuning, repairs, cutting, and fletching arrows.
• Conduct firearms repairs, including mounting scopes and optics, bore sighting, and setting up packages for all gun shops.
• Ensure a clean and professional environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Complete basic mathematical equations.
• Work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and scheduled training meetings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience and training.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Heavy work requirements: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Adherence to all safety procedures to minimize the risk of injury.

Pay

$17 per hour.
