Part Time Human Service Worker

About the role

Vantage Point North is seeking a part-time Human Service Worker to join their team. This role involves providing support services to individuals in need, assisting with daily activities, and promoting independence and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients access community resources and services.
• Document client progress and communicate with supervisors and other staff members as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals who require support services.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for helping others and a commitment to social justice.

Skills

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
