Part time Housekeeper

Morningside University is looking for two dependable and energetic part-time Housekeepers to join our campus facilities team! If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoy making a positive difference for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of custodial tasks to maintain clean, attractive, and orderly buildings
• Sweeping, mopping, and caring of floors
• Performing general cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Operating household and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Working independently and as part of a team to keep campus spaces looking their best
• Providing friendly, professional service to students, employees, and campus visitors

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of general cleaning practices and experience using household or custodial equipment
• The ability to work successfully independently or as part of a group
• The ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Successful completion of a background check verification is required

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule

These positions work approximately 29 hours a week, which does include some hours on Saturday and Sunday.
