About the role
ExpertCare is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. The role involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill-building activities, as well as bringing Recipients into the community to support their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Recipients in their daily activities
- Encouraging and motivating Recipients to achieve their goals
- Helping Recipients build new skills and confidence
- Bringing Recipients into the community to participate in activities
- Adhering to care plans and schedules
Requirements
- Compassionate and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
