About the role
As a Hardware Sales Associate, you will inform and assist customers with the products and solutions they need for their home, yard, or business.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in finding and learning about the products and services.
- Generate sales of hardware, lawn and garden, paint, and related products.
- Merchandise products and build compelling displays.
- Order products and maintain accurate inventories.
- Stock, price, and organize products.
- Straighten, clean, and maintain a pleasant, organized, and enjoyable sales environment.
- General knowledge of retail products and categories.
- Ability to listen to a customer’s needs and formulate appropriate solutions.
- Ability to operate a register, computer, and calculator.
- A commitment to Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Able to work efficiently, promptly, and accurately.
- Able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
