Part-Time HAIRDRESSER NEEDED for Personal Care Facility

About the role

We are seeking a talented and professional Hairdresser to join our team at a reputable Personal Care Facility. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing clients' beauty and confidence through expert hair styling and grooming services. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to personalized care, where your skills in cosmetology, barbering, and customer service will be valued and utilized to create a positive experience for every resident. Barton House is a small (20 bed) facility that specializes in memory impairments, including Alzheimer's. We have a fun loving homelike atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling (e.g., wash-and-sets) tailored to client preferences
• Develop a thorough understanding of each resident's hair care needs and preferences
• Ensure a comfortable, relaxing, and compassionate experience for all residents including those with mobility challenges
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and related services
• Proficiency in hair coloring techniques and knowledge of color theory
• Experience with senior clients is strongly preferred
