Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
• Review arrival lists daily and assist in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
• Escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in prior to arrival
• Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile, addressing questions or transferring calls as needed
• Manage issued bank, counting it at the beginning and end of each shift
• Ensure all cash drops are done according to proper cash handling procedures and report discrepancies to management
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Assist with lobby activation as needed
• Follow proper procedures when handling guest personally identifiable information (PII) data
• Use checklists for check-in and check-out processes, retrieving necessary identification and payment upon arrival
• Attend promptly to guest needs and inquiries
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations
• In-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
• Minimum of high school education

Pay

Compensation range: $15.50 per hour.
