Part Time Groundskeeper - Southerly St Augustine

About the role

As a Part Time Groundskeeper, you work closely with the Community Service Manager to ensure the community meets the safety, appearance, and operational standards established by the company. You are responsible for maintaining the property's curb appeal through interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, paint touch-ups, and grounds maintenance. Assisting with apartment make-readies, common area upkeep, and other maintenance tasks while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's curb appeal through interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, paint touch-ups, and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with apartment make-readies, common area upkeep, and other maintenance tasks.
• Deliver quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of painting and maintenance experience required (apartment maintenance experience preferred)
• At least a high school education or equivalent certification
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to: Use various hand tools and test equipment.
• Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• Climb ladders of up to 40 feet in height.
• Use a hand-truck.
