Part Time Groundskeeper Manufactured Housing Community

Garden Terrace Estates is a 104-home manufactured housing community in Garden Grove. The groundskeeper role supports curb appeal and resident satisfaction by maintaining common areas, irrigation systems, and interior shared spaces like the clubhouse and restrooms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning inspections of common areas
• Maintain grounds, including litter removal and trash-outs
• Check and maintain irrigation systems
• Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws
• Maintain interior common spaces (clubhouse floors, restrooms, breezeways)
• Communicate with the maintenance supervisor and community manager
• Identify and report issues before they escalate

Requirements

• At least one year of maintenance or grounds experience at a manufactured housing or multifamily community of 100+ units
• Comfort operating and maintaining power tools and mechanical equipment safely
• Physical stamina for a full shift of walking, lifting, bending, and standing
• Basic landscaping and light general maintenance knowledge
• Professional interaction with residents, staff, and visitors
• Ability to spot and flag potential problems early

Pay

$18 to $22 an hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (20 hours per week).
