Part Time - Grocery Store Assistant

About the role

Support the Store Manager in daily operations, customer service, and performance planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations, including customer service, store condition, and supervising sales associates.
• Help unload merchandise, organize stock, and transfer items from stockroom to store.
• Collaborate with team to meet merchandising standards for product quality and presentation.
• Support sales reporting, earnings tracking, and shrink reduction efforts.
• Assume full management duties in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail or grocery management experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexibility to work full-time including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
