Part-Time Gate Attendant

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks a Part-Time Gate Attendant at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. NRG Park includes four major venues: NRG Center, NRG Stadium, NRG Astrodome, and NRG Arena.

About the Role

Under direct supervision, the Gate Attendant directs guests to parking areas and assists with credit card transactions or passes. They also act as a liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring compliance with facility rules, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Customer-friendly and self-motivated, working in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with guests, clients, vendors, and other personnel
• Handle credit card transactions accurately and quickly
• Manage ticket/roll stock responsibly
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Have reliable transportation and communication
• Comply with Legends Global policies and procedures
• Adhere to department-specific uniform and dress code
• Attend meetings and training courses as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Understanding of operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, and event-related services
• Ability to follow policies and procedures, risk management, safety precautions, and emergency procedures
• Reliable transportation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and adhere to strict deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
• Computer skills not required
• Experience with credit card transactions in a fast-paced environment preferred
