Part-Time Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operating forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading materials
• Positioning loads and transporting them to designated areas
• Reading job specifications to determine adjustments and material needs
• Positioning forks and lifting devices around pallets, boxes, or materials
• Unloading, stacking, and inventorying materials on the work floor
• Performing routine maintenance such as recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
• Weighing and recording materials or products as required
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Operating equipment by manipulating levers, gears, pedals, and steering
• Performing additional duties related to the role as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to operate forklift equipment
• Adhering to safety policies
• Performing routine maintenance

This role requires passing a 7-year federal background check and drug test.
