Responsibilities
- Operating forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading materials
- Positioning loads and transporting them to designated areas
- Reading job specifications to determine adjustments and material needs
- Positioning forks and lifting devices around pallets, boxes, or materials
- Unloading, stacking, and inventorying materials on the work floor
- Performing routine maintenance such as recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
- Weighing and recording materials or products as required
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Operating equipment by manipulating levers, gears, pedals, and steering
- Performing additional duties related to the role as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to operate forklift equipment
- Adhering to safety policies
- Performing routine maintenance
This role requires passing a 7-year federal background check and drug test.
