Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with customers
• Water and arrange plants, inflate balloons, and create small arrangements
• Fill and rotate cases and floral displays (may involve heavy lifting up to 50 lb)
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be part of a dedicated team that arrives promptly for shifts and works as scheduled

Preferred Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, promotes customer service for the entire team
• Knowledge of small floral and greenery arrangements, corsages, and balloons
• Motivated to grow a career and continue learning

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent Physical: Lifting/carrying over 50 lb, pushing/pulling up to 2000 lb, walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling, repetitive motion (turning, bending)
• Occasional Physical: Climbing ladders
• Equipment Operation: Forklift, pallet jack, helium tank and carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system
• Mental: Judgment/decision making, social/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing basic computer skills, math/calculation
• Environmental: Extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces
• Repetition: Frequent – 15% of the shift or at least ten repetitions; Occasional – less than 15% of the shift or fewer than ten repetitions
