Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite at 2431 6th Ave., Suite P, Troy, NY 12180 and 260 S Pearl St. Albany, NY 12202
• Ability to work part time with 32 hours weekly Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
• Access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New York (preferred)
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
• 3+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (preferred)

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment.

Schedule

• Part-time with 32 hours guaranteed weekly, potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with lunch from 1:00pm to 1:30pm
