About the role

We seek a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Schedule

Part-time with 24 hours guaranteed weekly, with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.

2 days per week at 3420 Carnegie Ave. Cleveland, OH (Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday) and 1 day per week at 35104 Euclid Ave. Suite 201 Willoughby, OH 44094 (Fridays).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to work at both the Cleveland, OH and the Willoughby, OH locations

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Ability to work onsite at 3420 Carnegie Ave. Cleveland, OH 2 days per week and at 35104 Euclid Ave. Suite 201 Willoughby, OH 44094 1 day per week
• Ability to work part-time 24 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am–5:00pm
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
