Part Time Flexible Security Officer

WEEKLY HOURS AND LOCATIONS

Shift hours, days, and locations will vary weekly based upon business needs. Weekend availability is a must.

About the Role

On-site Security Officers are the foundation of Securitas. They are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, helping to safeguard people, property, and information. Flex officers provide fill-in coverage at client sites in the south Jersey area.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports
• Mobile patrol

Position Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift
• Previous security experience highly preferred
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver's license, and open availability required
